Very small restaurant tucked away in Sellwood. Ample street parking. Ordered some of their top items: salt and pepper chicken, beef noodle soup, pan fried baos, and braised pork and beef baos I really liked the salt and pepper chicken, it was so crispy! The braised baos weren't my favorite because they put an obscene amount of peanuts in it and I do not like peanuts. The beef noodle soup is def worth a try; the meat is so tender. It is a little on the bland side so I'd add salt (not soy sauce) to taste. The pan fried baos are pan fried dumplings and they're FILLED with soup. They were very good as well. We also got the lychee black tea and it was so good! Overall, staff is friendly and checked in often. Will come back to try more noodle dishes off their menu

Absolutely amazing food. We went the day after Christmas, so it was relatively quiet but the online orders were steady. I ordered the cucumber peppercorn salad, a Sapporo, potato pancake, and red bean bao. The red bean paste was thick, rich, and warm, and the bao was shiny and soft. I will be returning for the cucumber salad! They also served hot tea, so I ordered the lychee black tea, which was sweet and a wonderful starter. Overall a lovely place with intimate indoor seating, ambient lighting, and a soothing atmosphere.

We went to have Sunday lunch and we had cold side dish cucumber and warm pancakes. They were quite busy for lunch. We also had house noodles and pork chops with rice. We were satisfied with the meal. They were delicious and we would come back for other dishes soon.

I'm a big fan of Taiwanese food so was really excited to try this restaurant!! I got the Pork Chop Rice for $15 and it was a pretty solid meal and tasted very good! My only gripe is that I wish it came with more diverse veggies and I do think the portion size is a bit small for the price you're paying.. I got it to go and the process to order was easy (I used clover) and pickup went smoothly! Restaurant inside was a bit small but ambiance was quiet when I went :))

A fantastic mom-and-pop Taiwanese restaurant. My favorite dish was the beef noodle soup. It was rich, flavorful broth, super tender beef, and a must-try! However, I did find the ordering process a bit confusing at first. Walking in, I wasn't sure whether to sit down or go to the counter.

I stumbled upon this Taiwanese restaurant and was blown away by the beef noodle soup - it was so savory and rich. I had enough for leftovers the next day. Literally the best way to introduce myself to Taiwanese cuisine:) My friend and I also shared the braised tofu bao and it was delicious too, the bao buns were pillowy soft. Next time will definitely have to try their braised beef bao as well! The service was really friendly and I was surprised how quickly our food came out. We were getting close to closing time but they still welcomed us in. I loved how cozy it was inside with the warm lighting and plants.

Outstanding establishment! Low-key and family owned. Authentic Taiwanese food, from what I recall from my previous visits this great nation. I ordered simple dishes (sautéed mustard greens with mushrooms, braised tofu bao, and rice) along with soju, of course. Outstanding and subtle flavors, not overly greasy or overwhelming- just right! Service was quick, no nonsense, and attentive. I sat by myself at the window bar stool. Felt anonymous and completely at ease to enjoy the dining experience. Such a low-key and unpretentious environment. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the future. Cheers!

A nice little spot to grab some wontons and dumplings. The dumplings baos are not to be missed. The wonton ton noodle soup was warm and comforting but needed a little bit more flavor. This place has chrysanthemum tea which is a treasure to find. Service was quick. I'll have to try the spicy wontons next time.

Finally trying out Wei Wei in sellwood for a taste of Taiwan like the name suggests. We got seated right away. The owner/staff was friendly but also straight to the point which I personally appreciate. The restaurant is clean and the service is quick. We ordered the beef noodle soup and a beef bao. The beef is very tender in both dishes. The bao is very flavorful with the sauce, meat, cilantro, crushed peanuts, in a pillowy bun. The noodle soup is a generous portion of noodles, beef, and vegetables. The noodles are chewy in a good way and the broth is soul-warming and extra delicious with the chili oil.

My sister and I came here for lunch on a Saturday around 12:30pm and luckily there was only one other party there so we were able to get seats. The restaurant can really only fit up to 20 people on the inside and it was filled up by 1pm. We had a good experience overall. The owner seems personable -- she greeted a regular that hasn't been there in a while. Our appetizers came out really fast, but our entrees did take awhile bc of the fried pork chop. I noticed that everyone around us who ordered soup got their dishes first even if they came after us. The dishes that stood out to us was the spicy wonton & the pork belly bao. The wrap of the spicy wontons were silky and the spices were numbing. The pork belly in the bao melted in your mouth and I really liked the texture that the peanuts gave.
